Beach Hill Residences

In May 2012, Carlyle acquired a development site at 1953-1955 Gerrard Street East and 763 Woodbine Avenue. The property was at the time a derelict and underperforming retail strip located at a prime corner in the popular Upper Beaches neighbourhood. Carlyle identified an opportunity to revise the application and work with City Planning Staff in order to integrate the development within the existing neighbourhood context and invigorate a new sense of life into the area. Carlyle successfully developed a seven storey 64-unit mid-rise purpose-built rental which is now fully stabilized. The completed asset was sold in the summer of 2018.
