Carlyle acquired a 9,400 sq. ft. property at the corner of Queen Street West and Fennings Street, located in Toronto’s trendy Queen West neighbourhood. The property consisted of a dated automotive repair shop and paid parking lot. Carlyle re-envisioned the property for a future retail development. Through this repositioning, Carlyle was successful in divesting the property within two years of acquisition outperforming return expectations.
